When Your Husband Can’t Say “I Love You!”

Some people, mostly men, have a hard time expressing their love by saying three simple words. I. Love. You. It’s not that they don’t love you, as they show you in other ways. It’s just that they won’t say it. But let’s be honest, most women need to hear their man say those three simple words. Women, I’m hear to tell you, there is HOPE! Read on! Gary Young, the founder of Young Living Essential Oils shared the following story at the 2005 International Grand Convention. A JOYFUL STORY “I am going to share with you a story about Joy that will give you a tickle. This is a true story–it really happened. In 1992 a beautiful lady came to me and said, “Gary, my husband hates the oils. He doesn’t want me working with the oils, he doesn’t want me having anything to do with the oils. Got messy rooms CITRUS FRESH 2019

Lets be honest, many of you hate housecleaning. You’d rather do anything than clean a bathroom right? And getting kids to clean their room! Ugh… that can be a real struggle for parents. Well, it may be easier than you think to change your attitude towards cleaning and that of your children. The practice of aromatherapy is well known for its ability to trigger memories, and influence emotions and thought, but recent research shows that it can even effect behavior and actually set the “mood” for cleaning. How cool is that! “The ability of essential oils to act on both the mind and the body is what makes them truly unique among natural substances. The fragrance of some essential oils can be very stimulating– both psychologically and physically.”– D. OUR VET VISIT A Calming Experience

our vet visit a calming experience FB POST

I want to share with you about a an experience we had during our recent vet visit and remind you that essential oil‘s are not just for humans but can be great for our pets too. It’s funny how each animal responds differently when going to the vet and, just like us humans, can find it to be a stressful experience. Our dog had a serious health issue recently and we were making frequent vet visits. The vet was drawing blood from her at each visit which I’m sure wasn’t a pleasant experience. Surprisingly, in spite of this, she was actually excited to go, each and every time. I guess she is what you would call a “social butterfly”. In spite of the blood draw, she was always excited to go and couldn’t wait to visit with the other dogs that came in. Go figure! At our second to last … Continue reading

Create An Aromatically Safe Home

just breathe CLARITY THIEVES DIGIZE

Instead of using toxic air fresheners and scented candles, begin to create an aromatically safe home. I diffuse genuine, premium-grade essential oils, not to be confused with the cheap chemical-laden synthetic versions found at your local store. Most of the time I do so with a purpose. This means I don’t just diffuse essential oils to make our home smell good. I diffuse essential oils because of their limitless potential and beneficial value. Diffusing creates a healthy ionized room, can neutralize (not mask) odors, provide an uplifting environment and help elevate moods, force dust to the floor, provide a calming environment to support a better nights sleep, support better focus, and even promote better energy for those occasional afternoon slumps, and so much more. For instance, today, I have lots of mental work to do so I’ve got my diffuser on my desk diffusing CLARITY™ essential oil. Clarity™ blends Basil, Rosemary, Peppermint, … Continue reading

Get a Jump Start on 2018

As we come to the close of one year and enter into the next, its a good time to reflect on the past and set new goals for the future. However, sometimes that’s easier said than done, right? It can be very hard, some would say impossible, to move forward when we’re still hanging onto the past… whether that means harboring unforgiveness in our hearts towards past wrongs or perhaps holding onto old memories or habits, good or bad. Either way, if we remain focused on them they can keep us locked in the past and prevent us from moving forward and into the future. Fortunately essential oils may be just the answer you’ve been looking for. I was fascinated and amazed when I learned of the impact that our sense of smell has on our body and mind. The simple act of inhaling scents through our olfactory system (sense … Continue reading

The Benefits of Drinking Kombucha Tea

Kombucha tea, one of my favorite superfoods, has been around for a long, long time and in recent years has really grown in popularity. Its a naturally carbonated beverage that when made properly, happens to be a super nutritious thyroid and autoimmune elixir, full of B vitamins, vitamin C, enzymes for digestion, acids to boost the immune system, and gut-healing probiotics.   Many scientific studies have been conducted on Kombucha tea. Russian researchers discovered that many of its components have antibiotic and detoxifying characteristics, and they play a decisive role in the biochemical processes in the body. Its been reported that it detoxes heavy metals, plastics, and neurotoxins! Kombucha tea is made from a scoby mushroom which consists of a gelatinoid and tough mushroom-web membrane in the form of a flat disk. It lives in a nutrient solution of tea and sugar, in which it constantly multiplies through germinating. The fungal disc … Continue reading

Going Through Hard Times

Going Through Hard Times 1

Are you going through a rough patch in life, or, perhaps know someone who is? Do you find it difficult to let go and let God? I’m pretty certain that most of us, if not all, have struggled with this at one time or another. Holding onto anger, worry, fear, bitterness etc. It serves no purpose and just ends up robbing us of our joy. Could you use a little help getting through hard, difficult times, or seasons of life, full of trials and strife? Do you know someone else who could? I don’t know about you but I would welcome anything that could help me keep my thoughts and attention on the author and finisher of my faith, and his promises, instead of constantly thinking about and rehashing the problem over and over again in my head. Do you struggle with that? I know I do from time to … Continue reading

I Chose the Path Less Followed

Sometimes life throws us a curve ball… something that we weren’t expecting. We rejoice when its something good or exciting and never complain when that happens, right? However… sometimes good things come to us disguised as something bad, or something to be avoided and can take us down a path that we would not have chosen willingly, and many times they can leave us wondering “Why is this happening?” Because of my life experiences, I can now look back on many of these times in my life and give thanks for them because of the positive changes they produced. There certainly is something to be said for hindsight… its just hard to keep all that in mind while in the midst of a storm. One of these “times” happened years ago when my daughter was just shy of her 8th birthday and is responsible for taking me down the path … Continue reading
