Finding natural ways to do things has always been part of my life and started back in my childhood. I remember reading the PREVENTION MAGAZINE my parents subscribed to as a child and loved learning all the tips and tricks they offered.
Some of my fondest memories of my childhood include an amazing ORGANIC garden and fruit trees my mom and dad had, which took up most of our backyard. During the summer and fall it seems my mom, and sometimes my dad, would spend hours canning… just thinking about what came out of that garden makes my mouth water.
Some of my favorites were her homemade peach syrup (my favorite with pancakes), canned peaches, huge fresh red, ripe strawberries (on shortcake) and last but not least, my mom would make this ice cold side dish made from red, vine-ripened tomatoes. She would cut them up and add a little sugar and cinnamon and mix together and then refrigerate it. OMG… it was to DIE FOR and so incredibly refreshing on a hot afternoon.
Finding natural ways to do things has always been a part of my life and I am forever grateful to my parents for making it part of my childhood. As an adult I have continued their legacy and followed in their footsteps. I have to say we have experienced so many great successes over the years. Using safe, natural, God given options is always my first choice! In fact, it brings me great pleasure to share with others what I’ve learned over the years and I am passionate about encouraging others to do the same. Finding safe, natural alternatives has always been an integral part of my life and shudder to think of what our life would look like now had I not chosen this path long ago.
When I learned about Young Living’s genuine premium-grade essential oils they were a natural fit. There is no better way to kick toxic chemicals to the curb than to replace them with essential oils. Once I began using the oils consistently I started seeing AMAZING results! When I find something that works so well, something that is literally changing lives for the better, I feel obligated to share with those who are looking to do the same! I have always done this. Its one of my great passions!
So I took my own advice…
What advice? Well, when we were raising our children we always told them to find something they LOVE to do, something that they’re passionate about and then find a way to get paid to do it! SO I DID… because of the huge amount of success with essentials oils I decided to turn my wholesale membership with Young Living into a business.
When I joined Young Living I had absolutely NO plan, I mean ZERO plan, on using my wholesale membership to build a business. I just wanted to get my oils at wholesale prices. In fact, I can’t think of a single person I know of on our team who joined strictly because they wanted to operate it a business. It has just been a natural outcome. One starts using the oils, experiencing their powerful benefits first hand and naturally start sharing their successes with others. Because essential oils are SO EFFECTIVE and WORK SO WELL… everyone, and I mean EVERYONE needs them!
And, boy oh boy, am I ever so grateful for making that decision. Not only because of how well they work on supporting our health and wellness goals but also it has allowed me to be my own boss. It allowed me the ability this past year (2017) to go to another state for several months to help out my daughter and son-in-law who had just moved back to the states after being stationed in Germany. Both were starting new jobs and they needed to get my grandson special services Mon-Fri, which was being offered but was a 1/2 an hour drive away. There was no way they would’ve been able to do that without my help.
My business is portable and it goes with me wherever I go. I make my own hours, and work as little or as much as I want- and so can you! You will get out of it as much as you put into it!
