Experiencing Christmas through the eyes of children is a wonderful way to feel the joy and wonder of the Christmas season. Their exuberance and excitement is contagious and adds to the joy of the season.

My 6 year old granddaughter kept asking “How much longer til Christmas?” so I decided to make her a printable 8×11 countdown calendar so she can grasp how far away it is. We’re also using it to help her learn her numbers and patience!

Make it extra special and spritz it with an essential oil infused room spray. And while you’re spritzing you might as well spritz around the house to infuse the atmosphere with your favorite holiday scents… spray on decorations, pillows, pot potpourri, bedding, etc… your options are endless.

ROOM SPRAY DIRECTIONS
It can be as simple as using a little Christmas Spirit or Evergreen Essence or you might want to use one of the following recipes, or have fun experimenting and come up with your own blend.

CHRISTMAS SPIRIT– Our most popular Christmas essential oils, Christmas Spirit™ taps into the happiness, joy, and comfort associated with the holiday season. It combines Orange, Cinnamon Bark, and Spruce to create a warm, spicy, and sweet Christmas essential oil blend that’s sure to be loved by everyone in the family.

EVERGREEN ESSENCE– Evergreen Essence essential oil combines the crisp, invigorating scents of pine, cedar, and spruce to refresh your senses. This is a seasonal item and available to order through Nov. 15th or while supplies last.

All recipes are for a 2oz glass spray bottle.
Add essential oils to the bottle, then add a splash of witch hazel, then fill with filtered water.

CHRISTMAS SPIRIT or EVERGREEN ESSENCE… use 6-8 drops

BALSAM BRANCHES- 5 Idaho Grand Fir, 2 ea Orange & Cinnamon bark
COOKIE CUTTER CHRISTMAS- 3 Cinnamon, 2 ea Vanilla & Nutmeg
COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS- 3 Peppermint, 2 ea Lemon & Thieves
EVERGREEN: 5 dps Pine, 3 Cedarwood, 4 Idaho Blue Spruce
FRESH BALSAM- 5 Pine, 3 Cypress, 3 No Lights Black Spruce, 2 Peppermint
CHRISTMAS MORNING- 8 Christmas Spirit, 4 Peppermint, 1 Eucalyptus Blue
SWEET CINNAMON PUMPKIN- 2 Cinnamon, 2 Ginger, 1 ea Clove & Cardamon
