Prayer, Frequencies and the POWER of Essential Oils

Does combining the use of pure, unadulterated essential oils during prayer and meditation have the potential of transforming ones prayer life? Can the use of essential oils during prayer and meditation help maintain a healthy balance on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels? Can it assist us in bringing our prayers into alignment with God’s Word? After reading today’s post I hope you’ll try optimizing your next prayer or meditation time by anointing yourself with, or diffusing essential oils and see if it doesn’t help you have a deeper and more meaningful experience.

While researching this subject matter I discovered two fascinating articles by Dr. David Stewart, who is very knowledgeable and highly respected within the aromatherapy world. They are quite lengthy but were fascinating reads. Below are a couple of snippets from the two articles.

SNIPPET FROM THE FIRST ARTICLE:

HARMONIES, MELODIES & SYMPHONIES WITH ESSENTIAL OILS
    by David Stewart, PhD

How Do Essential Oils Make Music?
“Essential oils all emit a spectrum of frequencies that come from the bonds between elements comprising the molecules of their compounds. Each molecule is like a tiny stringed instrument where the bonds between the atoms of carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen act as strings of different pitches, just as a guitar or a harp has several strings of different pitches each with harmonics and overtones of their own.

Among the numerous frequencies of the molecules in an essential oil will be a fundamental which can and has been measured for a number of essential oils. The range of fundamental frequencies that have been measured for essential oils ranges from 52 to 320 MHz. For example, basil has been measured with a fundamental of 52 MHz, lavender at 118 MHz, and rose at 320 MHz. Vibrating at the same time with the fundamental frequency of an oil is also a range of harmonics. Hence, the application of an essential oil is like playing a musical note complete with a fundamental and all its overtones.

How do eos make music 2018a

When musical notes are played in a sequence, one after the other, we get melodies, scales, and arpeggios. Hence, when we anoint with different single oils, one at a time, one after the other in layers, we are playing tunes.

Think Of Oils As Notes With Pitch, Timbre, & Volume
Consider this. Think of each species of essential oil as vibrating like a musical note sounded by a particular instrument. It will have a fundamental, a basic frequency, or pitch. At the same time, since it is composed of hundreds of compounds each with a spectrum of frequencies, there will hundreds of harmonics or overtones creating a timbre. Some oils are like trumpets. Some like violins. Some like flutes or bassoons. Some instruments are naturally loud while some are naturally soft.

The amount of oil applied determines its amplitude or volume. While some oils, like oregano or thyme, are naturally loud, can overpower other oils, and require only a little to produce the desired volume. Other oils, like Myrrh, are naturally soft and play well with others without drowning them out. Myrrh is used to accompany many ointments and perfumes without upstaging the other ingredients.”

PRAYER, frequencies & EOs Body, Mind & Spirit

High Frequencies Are Integral To All Life

“…’God made man to worship,’ it is not only through music and sound in the audible range that we worship, as the musician seems to be saying. We also worship through subtle vibrations expressed as love, peace, joy, wisdom, adoration, gratitude, forgiveness, harmony, and prayer, etc. All of these attributes are expressed and characterized as vibrations with inherent frequencies. Our bodies and minds are constantly broadcasting and receiving vibrational energies that either glorify God or not, that either resonate harmoniously to receive God’s graces or not. Our thoughts and feelings are vibrations sent to God, just as we send our audible words of praise, singing, and the offerings of music. These things are in the ultra-high frequency realms, far above the range of sound audible to human hearing.

We either resonate with God and perceive his constant loving omnipresence, or we vibrate out of phase and out of range with Him and perceive Him not. Thus, the atheist says “There is no God,” but where and how is he or she looking? If you don’t tune into the right frequencies with the right equipment, you won’t find any radio stations. But such a search is not justification for saying, “There are no radio stations.”

To say, like your musician, that “God always uses the lowest thing to reveal himself” and “In this case the lowest frequency is the audio freq.” is totally false. God uses all things, high and low, to reveal himself and audio frequencies are not the lowest frequencies he uses. Most of our communications from God are not audible and are not “the lowest.” In fact, they are usually the highest frequencies, well above the physical sense of hearing or physical feeling. Divine Communication is something discerned by the Spirit, not usually by our physical body and its senses. Most communications between us and God are at frequencies higher than those that can be measured by material means.”

Enlightening and transformative concepts wouldn’t you agree?

After reading both those articles I was just stunned. Read on as I try to convey my understanding of merging these concepts with my understanding of frequencies, the power of prayer and the power of genuine, authentic premium-grade essential oils.

I believe that there is much that God has designed and put into place in nature to reveal himself to us. Romans 1:20 states…

“For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.”

The following 2 videos in this playlist are a perfect example of what I’m referring to and hope that it helps shed more light on this topic, and helps you to see and understand just some of the ways He has chosen to reveal Himself.

The Existence of Physical and Spiritual Laws

First of all, I believe that God has created both physical and spiritual laws, and that the world is governed by them. God’s word contains many references to these spiritual laws, and spiritual law functions just as surely as any natural or physical law.

Physical Law

I’m pretty sure that most people understand how natural or physical laws work. For instance we understand and apply the natural law that governs electricity, and when we do so electricity will work for us giving us light, heat and the ability to cook our food, operate all of our appliances, etc. Electricity is very useful and helpful when we understand and apply the law by which it is controlled. But if we disobey the natural laws of electricity it can do us great harm, and can kill and destroy.

Spiritual Law

On the other hand, I’m pretty sure there are many people, if not most, who don’t understand how spiritual law works. I believe that it is just as important to understand spiritual law for the same reason… if we disobey the spiritual laws, set in motion by God, it too can do us great harm and can kill and destroy. Let me try to briefly lay a foundation to my understanding of how it works.

In the bible, in Genesis 1, it says “…God created the heavens and earth…”. How did He do it and what did He use to create the heavens and the earth? By the spoken word! Genesis 1:3- “And God SAID (he spoke), ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light.” John 1:1 it states, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

Hebrews 11:3 says, “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the WORD of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” The physical world that we see around us… it was formed by the WORD of God! His spoken word has creative power… and WE are created in the image of God.

Here’s what Jesus had to say on this topic…

“Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him.”- Mark 11:23

First, his reference to “mountain” I believe is a metaphor… meaning problem, trial or obstacle.

Second, notice he didn’t say “believers”. He didn’t say those that follow God. He didn’t say JUST the things said to the mountain. He said “saith” meaning continually saying. He said that “whoever” continually says, doesn’t doubt, but believes those “things which he saith”… that “he shall have whatsoever he saith”. In other words, those “things” that you continually say – if you believe them – they will come to pass. That my friend is a spiritual law straight from the mouth of Jesus!

Spoken Words Have Creative Power

If man was created in the image of God and after His likeness, then spoken words are the most powerful things in the universe, for after all God SPOKE the world into existence. Following spiritual law… our words, spoken in faith, have CREATIVE POWER! Think on that one… I mean really think on that. … words spoken in FAITH have creative power.

What kind of words come out of your mouth? Are they words of blessing and faith, or words of cursing and condemnation? The subconscious mind believes everything it hears. It takes everything literally and acts upon whatever we say. With this knowledge we should be much more careful in what we put into our hearts and minds, and in the words that come out of our mouth. I believe carefully chosen words, when backed by FAITH, can move “mountains” but also keep in mind that ultimately God is still on the throne and in control.

Prayer, when done properly and when combined with essential oils, by anointing ourselves or diffusing the surrounding air with them, has the potential of being a positive force during prayer and meditation. It can be a powerful tool to help us break loose of old thought patterns, bad habits and can help us change our thinking processes.

What I mean by “prayer, when done properly” is this… instead of praying or speaking negative beliefs or “the problem” which lowers our vibrational energies or frequencies, we should pray the solution. We need to change our thought patterns and fill our hearts and minds with positive uplifting thoughts.

Philippians 4:8 K- “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”

Why? Because…

“out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.” (Matthew 12:34).

The words that are formed by our tongue and spoken out loud, and in faith, will release either positive (good) or negative (evil) influences or energies.

“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.”- Proverbs 23:7

“He also loved cursing, so it came to him; and he did not delight in blessing, so it was far from him.”- Psalms 109:17

We need to realize that there is creative power within us and learn to use it wisely. Begin to start speaking things in FAITH but I’m not talking about a “name it, and claim it” philosophy. I am talking about praying God’s Word and His promises back to Him, which I believe will flood our spirits with divine energy and elevate our prayers to a higher level. When we verbally come into alignment with what the Word of God says and promises, then we align our prayers with the will of God… how can that NOT raise our frequency on all levels?

Combining Prayer with the Powerful Influence of Aroma’s

Gary Young, founder of Young Living Essential Oils and also known as the father of modern day aromatherapy, understood and agreed with Luca Turin, an Italian scientist, who stated that in regards to the theory of olfaction, “it is the vibrational properties of molecules that enable us to distinguish smells.”

Essential oils have the power to change the atmosphere and mood in any room! Your sense of smell is directly connected to the limbic lobe of your brain, which is the emotional control center. It is responsible for your mood, memory, behavior, feelings, and emotions. The practice of using essential oils during prayer or meditation has been used for thousands of years.

Frankincense is known as “the holy anointing oil”. Did you know that burning Frankincense resin as incense was a part of prayer during biblical and ancient times, and is making a resurgence today. Incense is still used in some rites of the Roman Catholic Church. Its smoke symbolizes the prayers of the faithful ascending to heaven.

Understanding the Influence of Essential Oils and Their Frequencies

Clinical research shows essential oils have the highest frequency of any natural substance known to man. Dr. Robert O. Becker, in his book “The Body Electric” establishes that the human body has an electrical frequency, that frequency is the measurable rate of electrical energy flow that is constant between any two points, and that EVERYTHING has frequency.

Essential Oils with the Highest Frequencies

Diffuse or apply on crown of head, forehead, base of head/back of neck, chest, wrists and behind the ears.

The highest single oils are:
Northern Lights Black Spruce (suspected to be even higher than Blue Spruce)
Idaho Blue Spruce– (its been reported to be around 500 MHz)
Rose– (320 MHz).

And of course there are our two types of Frankincense- aka “the holy anointing oil”:
Frankincense– (Boswellia carterii)

Sacred Frankincense– (Boswellia sacra) Omani frankincense is regarded as the world’s rarest, most sought after aromatic in existence. Young Living’s Sacred Frankincense is the first Omani frankincense to be available to those outside the Saudi royals or the privileged of Oman.

Below are some of our blends and singles with frequencies above 150 MHz
You might want to try these during prayer and meditation!

Believe– (MHz – unknown) I can only assume that this blend has a high MHz frequency as it contains Idaho Blue Spruce and Frankincense, amongst many others.

Exodus II– (180 MHz) Contains frankincense amongst many others.

Forgiveness– (192 MHz) Contains rose oil, amongst numerous others.

Gentle Baby– (152 MHz) Contains rose oil amongst many others.

Joy– (188 MHz) Known as “happiness and romance” in a bottle! Contains rose oil amongst many others.

Sacred Mountain– (176 MHz) Also contains Idaho Balsam Fir amongst others.

Thieves Vitality (150 MHz)- Highly effective in maintaining a healthy immune system and good health.

White Angelica– (88MHz) I’ve included this blend too as it contains Rose oil, amongst others. It is said about this blend that it wards off the bombardment of negative energy and helps to increase the aura around the body.
