Northern Lights Black Spruce is Very Special

black spruce the essence of that

Northern Lights Black Spruce essential oil is a very special oil offered by Young Living Essential Oils. It is grown, distilled and bottled at our Northern Lights Farm located in British Columbia, Canada. The harsh northern Canada climate requires strength and resilience from the black spruce of the region, and this fortitude is evident in the aromatic character of the distilled essential oil. Young Living’s unique process distills the entire tree to capture its complete essence. Young Living founder, D. Gary Young, personally invested time and effort in the construction of the farm and played a crucial, hands-on role during the first distillation of Northern Lights Black Spruce essential oil. This effort, during the brutal negative temps sometimes as low as -40°, is a true testament of Gary’s passion and dedication to Young Living and its Seed to Seal® process. What other head of a billion dollar company, or any … Continue reading

Supplement with Master Formula and NingXia Red

POWERFUL COMBO Master Formula & Ningxia Red FB LINK 2019

When you supplement with Master Formula and NingXia Red, you’re making sure that your body is getting all the vitamins and minerals needed to help it function at optimal levels… ones that your body can actually absorb. We simply are not getting the needed nutrients from our food any longer without supplementation. According to an article “Dirt Poor: Have Fruits and Vegetables Become Less Nutritious?” our soil no longer contains the same amount of nutrients it once did. Outdated farming practices and the typical American SAD diet is a bad combination and us leading off right off the cliff. “It would be overkill to say that the carrot you eat today has very little nutrition in it—especially compared to some of the other less healthy foods you likely also eat—but it is true that fruits and vegetables grown decades ago were much richer in vitamins and minerals than the varieties … Continue reading

Ingredients

Please note: In the summer of 2012 Joy essential oil blend was reformulated because of deforestation and limited availability of Rosewood Essential Oil.

There are ten different oils in Joy. They are listed below along with a brief description of each oil.

Bergamot (Citrus bergamia) Essential Oil has the fresh, sweet, citrus scent that is familiar to many as the flavoring in Earl Grey Tea. Uplifting and relaxing, it is good for building confidence and enhancing your mood. It has a long history of use for oily and troubled skin. The essential oil has a calming aroma which relaxes the mind and body.

Ylang Ylang (Cananga odorata) Essential Oil has a sweet, soft, flowery fragrance that has made it a romantic favorite. In Indonesia, the petals are often strewn across a marriage bed. Ylang ylang is extremely effective in calming and bringing about a sense of relaxation, and it may help with releasing feelings of anger, tension, and nervous irritability. It has a long history in skin and hair care products, particularly in Asia, where it is used to promote luxuriant hair. Ylang Ylang has an approximate ORAC of 1,300,478 (TE/L). Geranium (Pelargonium graveolens) Essential Oil has a wonderfully uplifting, calming, flowery scent. It is excellent for the skin, and its aromatic influence helps release negative memories. TE/L is expressed as micromole Trolox equivalent per liter.

Lemon (Citrus limon) Essential Oil has a strong, purifying, citrus scent that is revitalizing and uplifting. Lemon consists of 68 percent dlimonene, a powerful antioxidant. It is delightfully refreshing in water and may be beneficial for the skin. Lemon may also be used to enhance the flavor of foods. Lemon essential oil is cold-pressed from the rinds of lemons. Jean Valnet MD estimated that it takes 3,000 lemons to produce one kilo of oil. In his book, The Practice of Aromatherapy, Valnet wrote that lemon is a tonic for supporting the nervous and sympathetic nervous system.* Lemon has an approximate ORAC of 6,619 (TE/L). TE/L is expressed as micromole Trolox equivalent per liter.

Coriander (Coriandrum sativum) Essential Oil , from the Cilantro plant (Coriandrum sativum) used since Ancient Egypt has a sweet, warm, herbaceous fragrance that has soothing and calming properties. It may support healthy digestive and circulatory system functions and has been studied for the support it may offer to a healthy pancreas. Coriander has an approximate ORAC of 298,299 (TE/L). TE/L is expressed as micromole Trolox equivalent per liter

Tangerine (Citrus reticulata) Essential Oil is a calming essential oil with a sweet, tangy aroma, similar to orange. It helps with occasional nervous irritability. An excellent oil to help uplift the spirit and bring about a sense of security, tangerine is also rich in the powerful antioxidant d-limonene. Tangerine may also be used to enhance the flavor of food.

Jasmine (Jasminum officinale) Absolute has a warm, exotic, floral fragrance that relaxes, soothes, uplifts, and enhances self-confidence. Jasmine is beneficial for the skin. It has been used throughout history for romance and attraction and for balancing the feminine energy of the body.
**Jasmine is an absolute or essence, rather than an essential oil.

Roman Chamomile (Chamaemelum nobile) Essential Oil has a warm, sweet, herbaceous scent that is relaxing and calming for both mind and body. Its gentleness makes it especially valuable for restless children. Soothing to all types of skin, it is used extensively in Europe in skin preparations. Roman chamomile is also beneficial when added to massage oil for relief of muscle discomfort after exercise. A calming oil that resonates well with children, adults and animals. Roman chamomile was one of the Saxons’ nine sacred herbs. Roman Chamomile has an approximate ORAC of 2,446 (TE/L). TE/L is expressed as micromole Trolox equivalent per liter.

Palmarosa (Cymbopogon martini) essential oil is also known as Turkish Geranium or Indian Geranium Oil. It is steam distilled from the leaves of the plant. This oil can be stimulating and soothing to the body and mind.

Making Healthy Choices… Educational Series

Much about our modern way of living isn’t really about making healthy choices it’s about making decisions based on convenience and in the end we pay the price with our health!  Years ago I made a conscience decision to take control of the reins to my family’s healthcare choices. We had a situation arise with my daughter health that prompted this. At the time, I didn’t have a clue as to what I was going to do… I just KNEW that there was a better way than what was being proposed. My maternal instinct, my gut reaction, was “NO WAY!” This is not NORMAL… there has to be a better way, so I started searching for solutions that were safe, natural and effective. So, the first thing I began doing was to talk with two friends who I knew were familiar with alternative therapies and I began there. Then I … Continue reading
